I am often asked this question. I recommend a morning time as an ideal time. This is when your life force is at its peak. It’s a great way to start your morning. It increases your self awareness and keeps you energized throughout. It’s also a better substitute for caffeine! I prefer a morning work out as evenings are sometimes compromised or sacrificed for other activities. Your body is also fresh and energetic in the morning after a good sleep. Late night work outs are a definite NO for me, as this gets me charged up and awake. But, for many this may be the only time to work out. Especially for people who work late hours/ work in shifts/and for those who travel. Working out at the end of the day, for some are sure stress busters. The only problem here is to decide when to eat. So, it might be a good idea to make your lunch your main meal followed by a lighter meal in the evening.
Just where do you fit in? The answer for this actually depends on your circumstances. Those who are hard pressed for time, try some simple warm up exercises which can even be done while taking a shower like arm rotation, neck movements etc. Just be careful not to injure yourself by hitting against the pipes, fixtures etc. Hydro therapy has many benefits. Water element refreshes, cleanses, removes stress and improves circulation.
I welcome suggestions and inputs from my readers.

Hello Mickey,
I enjoyed reading your website and some of your blogged articles – indeed enlightening.
Could you shed some light on the metabolism rate? For e.g. I am overweight by 10 kgs but I’ve started gyming for the past 6 months (mix of cardio and light weights) only to reduce 2 kgs! For breakfast I have cornflakes with milk. Half the time I skip lunch (in case I have lunch, it’ll be 3 chapatis and sabzi) and have moderate evening snacks. But I end up having a heavy dinner at 10 – 5 chapatis, sabzi and sometimes even meat/fish. Do you suggest any tips to optimize my metabolism (through exercise & diet) for weight loss?
