Holi, the festival of colors is a spring festival which is celebrated in India with colors, water and bonfires. This festival marks the end of the winter season and is a season to spread love, cheer and the radiance of nature by tapping into the life force around you. I was in Kolkata last week to address the Miss India, East region training sessions. The girls are working hard and are bright and educated lot. As I did in Hyderabad last month, their training too includes lots of breathing exercises and meditation to de-stress and de-clutter their mind from their daily worries and tensions. There’s yoga, pranayam, calisthenics and agility drills and a healthy diet. (more…)

Yesterday I had gone for an event promoted by Kryons and sponsored by Horlicks for bringing awareness on delicately dealing with children’s health along with education. It was a good forum and I spoke on the dying globe, charm and charisma on children’s face these days. All that is noticed are dark circles, swollen eyes ans strain. This is primarily due to extreme lack of sleep and proper nutrition and most importantly the missing open air recreation. (more…)
