Are you living, if you have lost the gift of freedom, the power to make things happen, and your sense of serenity?

Neither I nor anyone else has to prove to you, that breathing is the most elementary of all human functions. It is a very fine line between life and death.
When your pulse is on your breath, the power of transformation lies within. Breath is a transforming element/factor which can help you create the world you wish. One, who has mastered breath, has mastered life itself. A healthy mind invariably has an easy breath. (more…)

Fear not…no harm shall come to you, as you are born with a mighty purpose to fulfill. Perform every task with dedication & dignity, for there have been Kings who have lived like beggars, and beggars who have lived like Kings. Remember, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Those who had hope & faith, even in the darkest hours this universe has seen, have been gifted their own parallel universe full of peace, bathed in blessed heavenly light. Remember that cowards die a million deaths before their own, and those who lack faith will lose whatever they possess. But for those who remain faithful, ‘All that is lost shall be restored, and all that is broken shall be mended’.  (more…)

Most of us have delusions of superiority. We think ‘I don’t need any help but my neighbour certainly does.’

Mickey’s 3-day intensive ‘Creative and Constructive Attitude Adjustment’:

Follow this 3-day Attitude Adjustment exercise, based on the Zoroastrian philosophy of good thoughts, good words and good deeds. Focus on a different skill each day, and repeat this cycle until you’ve built an invincible attitude. It has worked for thousands – just as well as it will work for you. (more…)

An important part of who we are is defined by our roots, our culture and heritage.

Today, more than any other time in history, mankind is faced with the enormous challenge of keeping his heritage and values intact. We are at that proverbial fork in the road, where we can either watch as the remnants of our cultural heritage drift away into nothingness, or we can sit up and take action to preserve it, cherish it, enjoy it and promote it. The need to preserve these sites is important and urgent. They give us an insight into, and provide physical evidence of, past civilizations; they help us learn about our ancestors, their lives and culture. As these places belong to every human – the past, present and future generations – they must be preserved and protected at all costs. They are the legacies for which we should be proud, and which should be presented to the world with the same beauty & grandeur with which they were passed down to us. (more…)

Being funny and fun is the right attitude; not having the right attitude isn’t funny.

You will be doing yourself a great favour by modifying your attitude for the better, which will serve your purpose rather than immobilize you. Give creative and constructive names to problems you are handling, and see them fade away. The name or description we give to something shapes our attitude to it.

The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, by visiting Haiti in the wake of the devastating earthquake in January, has yet again showed the world that she wants to live in a world where she will go one step further to show her solidarity towards her fellow humans; a world where she will show us the way to co-exist and live in harmony with nothing but love in our hearts.

In her first, yet extraordinary official trip overseas without US President Barack Obama, she showed us the way to salvation and absoluteness through care and love for all. She, by lending her time and energy for helping the people of Haiti recover and rebuild to re-commit to their wellbeing and safety, showed us the path to ONE WORLD, to ONE BEING. She showed us that when one member of our world suffers, all the other members are not spared either. (more…)

Most of us not only have an attitude problem, but a problem of perception as well.

To change our attitude, we have to first change the way we look at things. Life’s ups and downs will invariably keep you asking yourself  whether the glass is half full or half empty. And the way you see it, will determine if you will be happy or not. (more…)

I love these words, ‘I’m starting with the man in the mirror; I’m asking him to change his ways.’ And no message could have been any clearer – if you want to make the world a better place, the first change has to be within yourself, in the way you think & feel about certain things.

Being creative, optimistic, happy and serene is the true nature of a human being, and what-so-ever stands against this must be set aside, be it a habit, or behavior, or staunch belief. Not following our true nature is what makes us sad and miserable. Only when we choose to transform non-constructive thoughts, words and deeds into constructive  ones, can we experience true bliss – a state where your true nature radiates from the core of your being, not only to touch every aspect of your life, but everyone else who comes within its sphere. Regret has only one purpose and that is to hurt our soul. If we have – I mean really have to regret, then let us regret for all those moments which we didn’t fully live.

For few days I have been reading about the opportunity that many lost because of not having bought that flat last year; but none of us are bothered that we didn’t give those values to our children when we could have. We all are so pulled in to the daily grind that most of us have become immune to finer things in life. Most of us have seriously started contemplating that if I don’t have this flat, or this car, or this spouse I would not be happy. Most of us have started feeling that once I have it, my life would begin. Hey guys, wake up! This is your LIFE, and not a practice life! Besides, if we spend our time regretting all those things that we didn’t have, then we risk those things that we are yet to have. (more…)

We have the power to create anything we want, and yet our imagination conjures up a world full of mistrust, hatred and pain.

Affirmative thinking is the third technique that will help you think along more constructive lines.

Visualization and Affirmative Thinking help us overcome this negative state of being. Through constant repetition, we will eventually be able to change our thinking for the better. The theory of constructive affirmation only works when we put all our faith in something, and say it to ourselves over and over again – I call it ‘Faith In Action’. Eventually, what you say turns into reality. By using ‘Constructive  Affirmations’, you can create any kind of reality for yourself. ‘As he says in his heart so is he’. (more…)
