When we talk about flab the first area that comes to our mind is the belly. Remember that one: What is belly dancing? When your belly keeps dancing after you have stopped…Once you understand some of the reasons your stomach may appear more bloated than it is, or why your body is storing fat around your middle, then it’s much easier to combat.

Lose stomach flab

Alcohol is a drink to avoid if you’re trying to get a flatter stomach. Not only does excess alcohol contain useless calories, but too much can make your liver engorged which distends the upper abdomen, or the part of your abdomen just under your ribs, making you appear bigger than you are.

Some alcoholic carbonated drinks, like beer, contain yeast which continues to expand in your stomach. But to fight the actual fat around the stomach you need to think about all over weight loss and reduce your calorie intake from alcohol.

When attempting to rid the body of excess flab, one cannot eliminate the fatter areas simply by exercising those muscles.

Many people may try specific arm exercises or abdominal exercises to try and reduce the fat in those spots. To truly lose fat, however, the person needs to take up a cardio workout and a healthy diet. Exercise and proper nutrition can cut down on fat in those who are out of shape, but many other people may find weight loss difficult.Flab may refer to layers of skin which hang down or create rolls of excess skin to some people. Flab can refer to fat on the human body which hangs down, or it may refer to sagging areas of skin that appear after dramatic weight loss. The terms flab and fat are often used interchangeably. Flab may appear on any area of the body. The stomach, upper arms, and the legs cause the most common problem areas for those trying to eliminate flab.

Consulting a doctor is the best way for a person to find out what his body needs to eliminate the fat. It could be a change in lifestyle, or medication may be required. Each person’s body is different and genetics play a large role in how fast a person gains weight. Other factors such as stress, a job that requires long hours of sitting still, or health problems can all lead to weight gain.

After working with a doctor to determine the best course of action, the person should engage in a cardio routine and plan out balanced weekly meals that still provide the nutrition his body needs. Cutting down on food will not necessarily result in weight loss since the person may binge eat at times. It can also slow the body’s metabolism and decrease energy needed for exercising. The solution for weight loss is a healthy, balanced diet instead of cutting out food in what is often termed a starvation diet.

Someone who chooses to lose weight should start slowly. This encourages him to gradually adjust to his new diet and exercise routine, making him more likely to stick with it. Working out with friends and family members can also help. Losing weight too quickly will not give the skin time to adjust and will lose the weight while still leaving the flabby skin behind. This can only be fixed through surgery, so it is best for the person to listen to his doctor and lose weight slowly.

Flab is defined as loose or flaccid flesh on human body.

Why Do Most People Turn to Flab After Age 40?Do you wonder why you are eating less and less in order to maintain your current weight as you grow older? Or are you wondering why you are gaining, even though you’re not eating any more than you used to?

Here’s the bad news: after age 40, the average person will lose about a half pound of muscle per year and replace it with a quarter pound of flab. During menopause, women will lose up to one pound of muscle a year and convert it directly into fat. This means that by age 55, the human body will burn about 600 calories less than it did at age 40. This explains why people find themselves eating less and less in order to maintain their current weight as they grow older.

Decreasing levels of lean muscle tissue and increasing levels of body fat mean more than just slow-motion metabolism. They also expose you to a greater risk of diabetes, heart disease, cognitive dysfunction, and depression. The only truly effective and enduring way to combat this steady loss of muscle is with weight training and aerobic exercises.

If you have ever wanted to get really serious about getting into shape, you have probably gone over several options; either you have looked into getting a gym membership, some home fitness equipment, or a home fitness routine. Now in the past your best bet was to probably go to the gym and get a personal trainer, then it would probably be to get some home fitness equipment, and the last choice would be a home fitness routine. But over the recent years there has been a switch in the fitness world, home workout routines have come a long way since a few years ago. There are a lot of people now who do not have time for the gym or the money for a personal trainer to
keep them motivated, and getting home fitness equipment takes up a whole room in your house and is very expensive. Home fitness routines have become just as effective as the gym without having to pay a lot of money, and the great thing about home workout routines is that there is a wide variety to choose from, so no matter what kind of workout you want, you can find one that fits your preference.
Fatigue is a common health complaint. It is, however, one of the hardest terms to define, and a symptom of many different conditions. Fatigue, also known as weariness, tiredness, exhaustion, or lethargy, is generally defined as a feeling of lack of energy. Fatigue is not the same as drowsiness, but the desire to sleep may accompany fatigue. Apathy is a feeling of indifference that may accompany fatigue or exist independently.

Physical causes are estimated at 20-60%, and emotional causes are the other 40-80%. The challenge is how to tell what is causing your fatigue and whether it is serious enough to see your doctor.

Fatigue Causes
Sleep disturbances, Heart diseases, Lung diseases, Nutritional disorders, Electrolyte disturbances, Endocrine disorders, Gastrointestinal disorders, Neurological disorders, Infectious diseases, Connective tissue disorders, General disorders, Gynecological problems, Exercise disturbances, and Psychological problems.

Classification of Headaches: Allow health care practitioners come to a specific diagnosis as to the type of headache and to provide better and more effective treatment.

Primary headaches: Primary headaches include migraine, tension, and cluster headaches, as well as a variety of other less common types of headache.

Tension headaches are the most common type of primary headache. Up to 90% of adults have had or will have tension headaches. Tension headaches occur more commonly among women than men.

Migraine headaches are the second most common type of primary headache. Migraine headaches affect children as well as adults. Before puberty, boys and girls are affected equally by migraine headaches, but after puberty, more women than men are affected. It is estimated that 6% of men and up to 18% of women will experience a migraine headache in their lifetime.

Cluster headaches are a rare type of primary headache affecting 0.1% of the population (1 in a 1,000 people). It more commonly affects men in their late 20s though women and children can also suffer these types of headache.

Primary headaches can affect the quality of life. Some people have occasional headaches that resolve quickly while others are debilitated. While these headaches are not life-threatening, they may be associated with symptoms that can mimic strokes or intra-cerebral bleeding.

A Headache is defined as a pain in the head or upper neck. It is one of the most common locations of pain in the body and has many causes.

The Common Causes of Headache are -

Chronic headaches are commonly due to Migraine

Tension, emotional stress, depression (Depression headache is associated occasionally with the focus of a somatic delusional system).

Intra-cranial injury, head injury, cervical spondylosis, dental or ocular disease, temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction, sinusitis, hypertension, and a wide variety of general medical disorders.

Alcoholism – alcohol is toxic to tissues, causes irritation to the meninges and thus a cerebral pain.

Constipation – due to absorption of toxic products in the circulatory system. Constipation sometimes causes temporary loss of plasma into the wall of the gut, and the resulting poor flow of blood to the head could be the cause of the headache.

In life it is not always important how fast you move from point A to B, it is also important to stop on the way to enjoy the journey. It is also important to take a break from continuously doing things before you are undone.

To stay productive and not to burnout try the following – Find time for socializing: You can achieve emotional fulfilment by contacting some of your old pals and scheduling regular activities like, watching movies, eating meals, playing games, and going on trips. Expanding your social horizon and crushing the feeling that you’re stuck doing the same thing every day, helps you to feel better.

Get fit: Get exercise, under the early morning sun.

Find a hobby: It will give your heart and mind with a satisfying break from the weekly grind and set you on a good path for increased productivity and creativity.

Help others: Nothing brightens the soul or warms the senses like giving to another for no reason other than to give. Reach out to your local NGO or professional organization and ask for referrals to local places that need your help.

Get clarity on your goals: Write down a declaration of purpose, for yourself. Stepping back and looking at your life as a whole has a way of putting the stresses of the moment into right perspective.

Find humor: Laughing and making others laughing is a great way to reduce stress. Start out by learning a few good jokes and add as you go.

Don’t give reasons produce results: Once you’ve given up on blaming others you’ll start seeing more of the good in your life. Accept responsibility.
Thank God: Create an attitude of gratitude. Thank God for all that, He has given you instead of crying and cribbing about what he has kept away from you.

If you slow down enough and stop chasing things, soon those things will come around and catch you. Stop…breathe…relax!
